Individual Task: Photorealistic Image Rendering
In this task, we were required to create a photorealistic render based on a chosen lighting and environment reference. I selected a scene from Vivy: Fluorite Eye’s Song — the Sunrise Hotel. My main goal was to capture the soft gradient glow of candlelight to ensure the lighting appeared natural and not flat. Most of the models in the scene were created by me, except for a few props such as the table accessories, the two neon pillars, and the vase décor. This task was primarily assessed based on lighting placement and the ability to convey the mood and atmosphere of the scene.
